Last week, Newbern Elementary School students took a special holiday walk to downtown Newbern to deliver their handwritten letters to Santa. With excitement, smiles, and plenty of Christmas cheer, students placed their letters in Santa’s mailbox: a tradition that continues to bring joy to our school and community each year.
Mayor Pam Mabry joined the students for the walk and helped celebrate this festive moment. We are grateful for her support and for the community partnership that makes activities like this so meaningful for our students.
