Students at Fifth Consolidated Elementary School competed against one another in a penny war that took place from October 13 through October 22 to raise money during breast cancer awareness month. Students in grades pre-K through 5th grade participated in the penny war with fourth grade being named the winner. The Fifth Consolidated penny war raised a total of $7,030.04. Way to go, Fifth Consolidated!!
